Welcome to Mount Hermon Nature Reserve, a sanctuary of breathtaking landscapes, rich biodiversity, and unparalleled natural heritage. Nestled in the heart of one of the region’s most iconic mountain ranges, our reserve is dedicated to the conservation, education, and sustainable enjoyment of this extraordinary environment.
Mount Hermon Nature Reserve in Lebanon (MHNR) was declared a protected area at the end of 2020, (Law No. 202) established on property No. 5851 (Amiri) of the Rashaya Al-Wadi real estate area, Rashaya District - Bekaa Governorate, covering an area of 1,260 hectares. Located in the eastern Lebanon mountain range, also known as Jabal al-Sheikh, it is regarded as an important area in terms of biological diversity in the Mediterranean region.
